The Belvedere Academy is a girls’ secondary school and Sixth Form in Liverpool for students aged 11-18. We have a strong academic record and offer a broad curriculum within a supportive community. The Belvedere Academy is part of the Girls’ Day School Trust, a family of 25 schools nationally, which also includes a global network of over 100,000 alumnae.

Wishing our entire school community a safe, happy and healthy summer break. You have all worked incredibly hard this year, and it is time for a well-deserved rest!
While you are relaxing and recharging, don`t forget to keep those brains ticking along. If you’re looking for an activity to fend off any holiday boredom, the Super Curriculum website is the perfect place to explore new interests, dive deeper into your favourite subjects and try something new!

Our annual library Summer Reading Challenge is live!
Students are encouraged to choose a challenge, which includes a bookmark and sticker, and check out some great books to read over the summer holiday.
Everyone who returns their Summer Reading Challenge card back to the library in September will be entered into a prize draw.
It is well proven that reading challenges can help stop the ‘dip’ in reading levels that can happen over the six week break, and keep our young people’s minds in tip top condition, ready for September. Plus, who doesn’t love a beach read at this time of year?
