We always look forward to Results Day at Belvedere, and Summer 2026 did not disappoint. It was a wonderful occasion as we welcomed our 135 Year 13 students into the Forget-Me-Not building to celebrate their accomplishments alongside their families and staff.
A top three high-performing Sixth Form in Liverpool
Our A Level results were outstanding, with 26% of all grades awarded at A*/A and 84% falling within the A*/C range. These results place Belvedere among the top three high-performing Sixth Forms in Liverpool and make us the top-performing girls’ school in the city. Vocational subjects were equally impressive, with 64% of grades achieving Distinction or Distinction* (the equivalent to A and A* at A level). Belvedere always does well in progress measures and this year was no exception with all subject areas adding value to students’ academic development.
Exciting times ahead for 2026 leavers
Thanks to these fantastic outcomes, the vast majority of our cohort are moving directly toward their career goals. Over 82% of students have accepted university places, with nearly 60% heading to prestigious Russell Group institutions and others venturing as far as the United States. Beyond higher education, an increasing number of our students have secured highly competitive degree and higher apprenticeships with top employers, combining invaluable workplace experience with further study. Together, our leavers head off to pursue a remarkable range of degree courses and career pathways – including Medicine, Dentistry, Aerospace Engineering, Neuroscience, Architecture, Egyptology, Fashion, Fine Art, Film Studies, Law, Accounting & Finance, Psychology, and Politics & International Relations. We are immensely proud of our Year 13s and wish them every success in the exciting times ahead.
