Safeguarding
Parents
At The Belvedere Academy, we aim to promote a ‘child centred’ and coordinated whole school approach to safeguarding. The staff have the knowledge and skills to ensure all pupils are supported appropriately and intervention can be offered in a timely manner. The academy focuses on early intervention for pupils and families to enable young people to flourish and to be empowered with support in place to achieve positive outcomes. The academy also has a team of experienced designated safeguarding leads and they can be contacted on safeguarding@belvedereacademy.net to support families as required.
PLACE2BE
Our Place2Be practitioner Michaela is on site Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Contact her at place2be@belvedereacademy.net or 0151 471 1853. She offers drop-in Place2Talk sessions, structured counselling (8 to 12 weeks), and parent support, all available via self, parent or staff referral.
OPERATION ENCOMPASS
We work with Merseyside Police on Operation Encompass, a project supporting children affected by domestic abuse. For more information, contact our Designated Safeguarding Lead, Mrs J Marshall, at safeguarding@belvedereacademy.net.
